Dear Friends:
We are pleased to announce the 2016 Fluid Forum scheduled for February 15-17, 2016 at Talking Stick Resort, 9800 East Indian Bend Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85256. The Forum provides an opportunity for review of all research projects sponsored by the Fluid Fertilizer Foundation and for you to determine how to apply this latest information to your business. We will also feature three special invited speakers.
Dr. Jerry Hatfield is the Laboratory Director and Supervisory Plant Physiologist at the National Laboratory for Agriculture and the Environment. Among other things, his focus has been on the evaluation of farming systems and their response to water and nitrogen interactions across soils. He will present his thoughts on the future of nutrient management in enhancing crop productivity. Dr. Elwynn Taylor is a Professor of Ag Meteorology at Iowa State University. Dr. Taylor is widely recognized for his clear explanations of the complexities of long-term weather variability. He will present his thoughts on the El Ninio and other weather related issues. Dr. Jim Schepers is an internationally known Soil Scientist recently retiring from USDA-ARS. Research over his career has focused on developing management concepts and technologies to reduce N losses to and while improving productivity. Dr. Schepers will provide his insights on many crop yield and N management tools being introduced by private companies and Universities.
The Forum is THE late winter gathering point for fertilizer ind1:1stry leaders. We invite your participation as a significant part of your yearly activities. Dress code is strictly business casual.
Enclosed is a copy of the Fluid Forum program and pre-registration form for the Forum. The hotel should be contacted directly for your room reservation by calling 1-866-877-9897 and ask for the block of rooms under Fluid Fertilizer Foundation before the cut-off date of January 13, 2016. Be sure and make your reservation before January 13th since the cut-off date is strictly adhered to and the rate will go up substantially. The rate is $179 single/double plus Bellman gratuities ($10 per person round trip) and housekeeping gratuities ($3 per night).

There will be Receptions on Monday and Tuesday evening from 6:00
Forum registration and payment by check or credit card should be returned to the Foundation office in Manhattan, KS. Preregistrations will be refunded if notification is received by February 1st. There will be no refund after that date. Forum proceedings will be posted on the Foundation's website after the Forum is concluded with text and PowerPoint presentations so no CD's or hard copy proceedings will be handed out prior to the meeting.
